I have a problem with my landlord. I have been renting for almost a year now. My water from my kitchen sink is coming back into my bathtub. To make matters worse, they are all draining slowly, and into the apartment downstairs. So, I dont want to run my water if it just goes into his apartment. My landlord is in the hospital now, but this has been going on since long before he went in. There has been no-one sent to look at the problem, and meanwhile, the downstairs apt. has a waterfall in it. What I would like to know is - What can I do about this? What are my rights? If needed, where can I get legal representation for free, because I work in a restaraunt and go to college. I dont want to get another job to pay for a lawyer.
