What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? New Jersey
My grandchild lives with her mother and my son has 50% custody. He has her every other weekend with one night stay over. She is 3 years old. Her mother has had many boyfriends and lets them sleep in bed with her and my granddaughter. I has come to our attention through an aquaintance that one of these boyfriends has touched my granddaughter on her vagina. He no longer lives with them. Now there is a boyfried who is a heroine addict living there and sleeping with both in the same bed. My son is afraid of going to court because the courts seem to respect the mother and find fault with the father. Please help us. We need to get her out of there right away. She has not had any therapy and her mother has told her not to talk about what happened to her and that if she does, her mother can everything she says.

so when you called social services, and they investigated, what did they tell you?

and when dad went to court, got custody on an emergency basis, with no visitation for mom until pending further order with the court, what did the judge say?

so dad's daughter was being molested but he was too scared to go to court....then what? he's too worried about himself?

So, how is it that an acquaintance knows that the child was molested, and what Mom has told the child regarding this molestation?

How is it that Dad has done NOTHING to this point?

And since the alleged molester no longer lives with Mom, why does Dad think that's going to make any difference at all to the courts?

If you think your child is being molested, you go to the POLICE, not court. Court is secondary. Child protective services is first.
