What is the name of your state? PA
My daughter is going thru a difficult divorce and custody battle. Her ex has physical custody. My daugher has an order with specific visitation. The problem is since my daughter couldn't afford her attorney he withdrew. Since then my son-in-law has been doing anything and everything to disobey the order. Today she was to get them after school for 4 hours but again he chose not to show up at the court appointed meeting place. No kids and no idea where to turn.

Your Daughter can file a Contempt Petition on her own .

The Clerk's Office should have the Forms .

I AM ALWAYS LIABLE

Thanks. Is there a fee?

My response:

No. The court, and the clerks, will always work for free for your daughter, and that includes all the supplies they use.

Your daughter is also exempt from paying any share of what it cost to construct the courthouse.

The taxpayers do not mind paying for your daughter's court battles.

Oh, please . . .

Actually, I found that the Custody Office here in Westmoreland Co, offers a "contempt" packet w/ all the necessary paperwork to be filled out, then sent to the Judge who signed the original order, at no cost. Which infact, my daughter picked up and completed this afternoon. So I guess my earlier question, "is there a fee", really wasn't so silly after all. But thanks for the help anyway.
