Hi
I am in NC. I purchased online web hosting through a company based in Florida. I have a problem with them that am having a hard time getting closure on. I pay for this hosting site through a service called PayPal. The payments are automatically deducted from PayPal each month. Well for some reason my Hosting Company keeps messing this up and keeps telling me that I have not paid for my account but I clearly have. They keep telling me to send them a transaction ID to prove that I have paid for the service. It has gotten very aggravating to keep having to do this so this last time I balked, and did further research into this matter and even on their own billing system page which tells all my transactions and other information it has it listed as being paid in full but they still will not turn my website back on. What makes this even stranger is that I actually have two accounts with them, the other one originally had problems with as well but it cleared up while this one still fouls up. I filed a claim with the Better Business Bureau but have not had any response and it has gone over the thirty day limit. The claim is still on record but no longer being pursued by the Better Business Bureau. The question I want to know is will it be worth the trouble or effort to file a small claim in a local court. I know it is a very small and insignificant amount of 3.95 a month but it is a personal website with family history on it and is worth much more to me and would like to have my site up and running without any problems from a company that cant seem to keep up with their own billing. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
