What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? UT
I have a website and I have found that another site has copied my content word for word. They also have my pictures up. They at least credited it my site. I would like to know if they have to remove the material if I ask them to.

Unless you've somehow given them a license to use your work, then they are infringing on your copyright, so yes, they are obligated to remove the infringing material.

You can start, if you like, by sending a polite email to the powers that be explaining that they need to remove the infringing material. If they do not cooperate, file a DMCA complaint with the ISP (you can Google the appropriate way to do this).
