What is the name of your state? ohio

I was talking with a friend on webcam and unknown to me they recorded the video from the webcam, is this legal? If it is do I at least own the copyright to it to prohibit from being posted on a website. Thanks

Did you know you were on webcam? Know you were being recorded? What state are they in?

This isn't a copyright issue. They would own the copyright anyway, since they did the recording.

They own the copyright to the video, but you own the rights to your image. In order to legally "publish" their video of you on a website, they would need to obtain a release from you, giving them permission to use it.
