Hi, I'm a webmaster from Florida. I revealed some newsworthy screenshots on my website that were leaked to me from a source who agreed not to disclose the content of these private pages.

The company who owned the content contacted me demanding I remove the screenshots, but I feel that I am not responsible because I myself never signed a non-disclosure agreement and I feel that the information is newsworthy.

What should I do? If you'd like more details please private message me.

Thanks a ton.

If the website is owned by you, if you placed the screenshots on said website and if you procured said screenshots without permission of the owner, you ARE responsible.

So, which would you prefer, be the subject of a copyright suit which can cost you Thousands of dollars to defend, aside from the cost if you lose, or 15 minutes to take the copy, which you KNOW you don't own, down?
