What is the name of your state?OH

I just that some of you who have read and posted for msdad might be interested to know that we went to court last week for the visitation. The judge signed off on the psychologist suggestions that my son needs more therapy for AT LEAST 6 months before they can even meet. Then an agreement was made and signed off on by the judge that we will leave everything else up to the dr. Meaning, any out source treatment, supervised visitation will be only with the dr. and for how ever long the doctor sees fit. The doctor can call off any and all visitation at anytime. (Which we would then have to go back to court of course) He is also getting sent to a Drug and Alcohol center to be accessed. Which apparently once found to be an alcoholic it takes months and much effort on his part before they will give him a clean slate. Including random testing. The Dr. says that with all his DUI's they will for sure consider him an alcoholic. He was reminded in court by the judge that there is no legal obligation on my part to let him see my son at anytime. There was NO order for visitation. Just thought some of you might be interested, since I've been reading his most recent posts.

*tigger, I'll send you an email soon!!

Thank Gods! I am happy to hear that, atleast this once, a child's best interests are being met.
Good luck to you and keep us updated.

I certainly agree with that! Msdad probably wouldn't have come back and told us that himself. He wouldn't have liked the fact that we were all correct.

I agree with you too! I certainly would have been grinding his nose into it had he come back with that news. ;)

LMAO! Brilliant! :D Hope they drug test him and he fails for Marijuana too.

We were just telling him that visitation is NOT a guarantee....Bet you he just disappears like he used to ;)

No we actually didn't submit anything, other than his and the psychologist's depositions. The lawyers worked it out, and then he and I came in at the end. The judge added the Drug and Alcohol testing on her own because in his deposition he admitted to "several" DUI's.

penny4u-even though I have been on this forum for just one month I read some of msdad's posts and it sounds to me like he was more out for revenge on you than spending time with his child. He apparently doesn't get the concept of being a dad than being a resentful and vengeful person. Congratulations on your victory!
