What is the name of your state?ohio, i am sick over the fact my brother has lied and said i stole a company check from his house, yes i was at his house with y grandma and boyfriend that day but i am the one he said took the check it was made out to his company by another company for payment , it was to be for 6000.oo well anyway i never saw the check i dont even know if there was a check , all i know is that my family believes him and now we are not going tobe together for the holidays and everyone is mad at me , why do i have to be the one that is accused of this wrong doing when i did nothing how can i prove my innonocene to my family somehow have the prove in black and white please help me i am so sick over thisd beccause i did not do it

If you stole it, how would you be able to cash it? I mean, if its made out to him, only he can cash it, unless you indorsed his signature, in which case you'd be liable to him for conversion.

The company should be able to see once the check is cashed and where it is deposited. In the alternative, perhaps you can suggest your brother ask the company to stop payment on the check and issue him another, if the first has not been cashed.
