I live in California USA. so earlier this year on Thursday June 8th i was assaulted by my sister. I was at my mother's house (my mom and dad are divorced) and i was eating cereal early in the morning in my brothers room. I was home with my sister (she is 20) her husband and my younger brother. she came in very mad. we got into and argument about eating cereal in my brother's room. she said that i was mooching(taking advantage and using) my mother ( i am 15). I then said she was using our mother. she then walked over to me and tried taking the bowl from me. i held onto the bowl so she pulled witch caused it to fall and break. she then slapped me( i had a broken leg with a cast on at the time) i stood up and told her not to do that again she then she then punched me in my face and grabbed the carton of milk and hit me with it. she repeatedly slapped, punched, and scratched me but i did not hit her back at all. the only time she got injured was by stepping on glass that she broke. i then pretended to fall on the floor near my door and pretended to hurt my leg that was broken at the time. so my dad took me to his apartment then we field a police report.

Your father reported your sister to the police after the incident in June. Other than eating your cereal in the kitchen from now on and staying away from your sister, there is little else for you to do.

Good luck.

Obvious Observer
Your sister is not a juvenile. You are.

You filed a report. If the DA thinks there's sufficient evidence, the DA will do something with the information.

You indicate that there was no physical injury to you caused by your sister, and that the property damaged was your mothers, not yours. Unless you omitted something, there are no monetary damages worse pursuing.

You do not indicate that your sister presents an ongoing danger. She is not stalking you. The most recent incident you list is June, and she was injured more than you. Unless there is something more recent, there is no need for a restraining order.

One think you haven't mentioned is a parenting plan. It would be advisable for your father to petition the court for a modification of custody/visitation to reflect the current situation, if it differs from the most recent court order.
