What is the name of your state? Kentucky
I am seeking to be rehired by my last employer (now under a new leadership) and some of the current employers have personal issues with me and have started a patition for me not to be hired. My name is one of 4 on the patition but I am the only one that applied for a job. The reason they don't want me rehired has nothing to do with the job I applied for, it is all personal feelings that they have toward me. Do I have grounds to seek legal actions for discrimination? And how you would prove discrimination. Several people who work at this place of business don't like you. Management may or may not give their opinion weight. However, if they do and refuse to hire you, it is not actionable.

You seem to have burned your bridges long ago with those employees.

OP, no, there is no legal action you can take. Barring a contract that specifically says otherwise, the company has no legal obligation to rehire you regardless of the reason. Nothing in your post even remotely suggests that you have a case for discrimination.
