What are issues selling on Ebay US when purchasing & shipping from other countries ?

I will be traveling to Europe in 2006 and wondered what the issues are if I shop in London, list on ebay US and then ship from London. I don't know what trouble this is but I am trying to figure out if it is feasible.

Lots of folks in England do list on eBay in the US, the only drawback I know of is the high shipping rates.
