My business is in Texas. I consigned some merchandise to a small business and now I can't get my items returned or my money. They will not answer the phone and will not return my phone calls. I have a list of what I consigned and they have a copy of the same list. What can I do to get my merchandise back? I know they will be attending some trade shows in February. Can I contact the production company that is putting on the show and let them know of their bad business practices. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Usually you must write to them, send rrr, certified. if they get the letter and tell you to kiss off, the only way i see that you can get anything is to take them to sc. You will not get your stuff back, that is not what small claims does, they give you the amount it is worth. I am not in TX, this is info that is usually the same practice in all states.

Good Luck, and maybe Halket from TX can help you!

sc = Small Claims, not South Carolina

Sorry I forget some don't get *my* abreviations for things. :)

My response:

Jennifer, I knew what you meant, already. I was just pulling your spindly little leg. But, the laugh I got is now, somehow, lost in the translation, and it isn't funny anymore - - at least to me. In fact, I think my "South Carolina" joke sucks. I should be shot.
