What is the name of your state? CA

Okay, I've been told before there is nothing i can do about my situation. I'm here with no visa or nothing like that. My parents brought me here from Mexico around 1989 and I've been here ever since. Now I have to carry the burden they do. I'm currently in Community College as it s my only option. Is there anything I can do? Any laws out there that can help me?

Any guidence will be appreciated . . . thank you.

**A: what burden do they carry? Oh, you mean all of you are illegal aliens?
How did your parents enter CA?

How did you enter the US back in 1989? If you entered legally, there might be hope. If you entered illegally, there isn't too much hope, except maybe to sneak back out and then re-enter legally like with a visitors visa or a students visa.

Actually they enter here ilegally.

I guess that would be the only thing I can do is re-enter with a strudent visa. What are my options if I re-enter. How long would I have to stay over there? And what would I need once I'm over there? And what are my chances once I apply for a student visa? Do I need to attend School over there for a while before re-entering. And what about my record here in the USA??

okay thanks . . .

Check first with your college and see what the international students department counselor can help you with. They would know more specifically about their policies and how they handle the foreign students that attend or want to attend their college.

If you decide to leave the US and attempt re-entry legally, you can: apply for a student visa or a visitors visa which will give you legal entry. From there, you can apply to adjust this status to that of a permanent lawful resident either through employment or through an immediate US permanent resident or US citizen family member.
Keep in mind that this total process takes time (it could be several years).
