My ex husband is allowed visitation rights 3 days out of the week. Of all 3 days, he consistently takes our kids to his mother's but he will not give me his mother's address. I am frightened to death when his mother takes care of our children. He only takes our children there for his mother to care for our children so he can sit on his butt and do nothing. What can I do to restrict him from taking our children there? I have a suspicion that he drops off the children to his mother's when he should be spending time with the children and that's why he will not release an address. What can I do?

Why are you "frightened to death"?

Is she a threat?

How do you KNOW that he's dropping off the kids at his Mom's? Or is he staying there too?

Essentially, you can't do much of anything. His time with the kids is his to do with as he sees fit.

If you were actually "deathly afraid" that your children were in danger, you would have called CPS. Stop being a drama queen.

What are my rights

I am frightened to death because it's not safe. My daughter almost lost an eye because of her ignorance by putting a tangerine, with a branch still attached, in our baby's crib. She is not in the right mind to or ability to be taking care of our children however my ex husband trusts her completely. She has a physical disability and receives monthly disability funds from it. How can I prevent her from taking care of our children?

Please answer the question.

Is Dad leaving the children there during the ENTIRE TIME of his visitation, or is he present?

I have no idea whether he stays there or not because I don't have an address to confirm or verify. He has a track record for lying until he's caught.

So you don't know anything? How DO you know what's going on?

Then there's no proof of anything dangerous or threatening. And it would be assumed that Dad is present - no doubt both he and Grandma would testify that he's present.

He can take the kids wherever he wants during his parenting time - heck, he could drop them off with me for a few hours if he wanted.

Really Mom, it does come across as a bit of an overreaction.
