HELP! I need a divorce. I recently moved to Tennessee about four weeks ago. I had to leave my husband in Indiana. He will not work or even try to take care of our family. He only worked one week last year. I had to stop working because I had our third child and also had surgery to tie my tubes. When I quit working, about a month later, we lost our house, our car, and had absolutely no money. We had to move in with his sister, and drive his mothers car when she would let us. I had no choice but to move home with my parent in Tennessee. However, I cannot file for divorce here until I have been here for six months. Is there any way that I can file through Indiana courts? I cannot wait six months to file for divorce or to obtain legal custody of my children. Please help with any advice possible.

If you file in Indiana, you will have trial there and go back and forth every day. Can you do this?? If not wait 6 months
