What is the name of your state? GA
Don't see a general thread so I'll ask here.
Don't know about the legal field. I'm pretty sure immigration lawyer are close the the very bottom. Family lawyers are towards the bottom. How exactly does the legal field tiers go? Where do the hot shots from Ivy League schools get into? Where do the lawyers that just scrapped by at the worst law schools get into?
I'm in the medical field so I can tell you about the medical field or you can google STEP 1 score by specialty.
Tier 1 - derm/plastic surgery - mostly life style based. money on average is a bit lower than the tier below it, but the life style is very easy.
Tier 2 - any specialist - mostly surgery based. Orthopedic, neurosurgery, etc. Usually paid the most but the lifestyle sucks.
Tier 3 - General surgery, Anesthesiology, ER
Tier 4 - Psychiatry, family medicine
