What is the name of your state? IL

Thanks for answering (or confirming what I thought, lol) my earlier question asking if anything can be done about the appellate court's summary opinion containing errors, misquotes and untruths.

My next question is:

What can be done about an appellate summary opinion that contains errors, testimony misquotes and information that differs from the trial transcripts?

Is this sufficient grounds to appeal to the IL Supreme Court?

This is not why this case is being appealed, but all incorrect information should be included in the appeal, don't you think?

Thanks!

One thing that you need to do is relax a bit.

This board is staffed with volunteers, and it is the Saturday of a holiday weekend. You have posted the same question three times in a three hour period. Have a little patience. Someone will respond to you eventually, but we all have lives and families and other things going on right now. Operators are not standing by 24/7 to answer your call, okay? :)

Thanks, ha! My husband agrees and got quite a chuckle out of what you wrote. I do need to relax a bit. This thing is bothering me more than my Dad!!!! Thank you though. Needed to hear that from someone else! Me thinks me needs a vacation away from all this.

It's just that the deadline is approaching and I just found your web-site. And as far as Saturday goes....I've forgotten what day of the week it is!

Thanks for your input! I'm so excited to have found a site that has people who care!

Thank you and have a great weekend!

My response:

Well .................. perhaps "care" is a bit too strong of a word. You see, I don't really "care" - - especially if your Dad is behind bars.

Glad you liked it. There's more where that came from.

Can either of you (make that, will either of you) answer our impatient poster's question? As you both know, I'm not an attorney and don't do what I do in Illinois to begin with so I'm no help!

Oh, I agree. One thread is definitely enough. It just occured to me, though, that if someone, like, maybe, you know, answered it, it might head off thread number four.

Probably stupid of me. I'll slink back to Employment Law now.

See you later.;)

IAAL....Are you okay? My dad is not behind bars. He's the most honest person I know. Why on earth would you say something like that? Do you have your threads mixed up? Wow! Seriously.....Are you okay?... Unlike you....I do care....;) I certainly hope you are okay IAAL..... I'm worried about you bud.....Besides all that, do you have any intelligent, non-smart alleck advice? Any type of intelligent answer to my question? Oh....and ARE YOU OKAY? I could start another thread, asking if you are okay....hmmm.......

And I agree that one thread SHOULD have been enough, but apparently it still is not enough.

You told me to be patient and that it was a holiday weekend....Well the weekend is over.... And the case I am referring to has a deadline for filing an appeal....Yes, I realize people have other things to do.....If they don't have time to answer questions on here, then maybe they should not be on here.....

Here's an idea of what you can say to someone when you don't know the answer.....How about.....Sorry, I don't know.....If you are feeling extra charitable you could say you don't know but you or someone else might look into it......Instead of spending so much time being nasty to people with questions, maybe the time should be spent constructively, finding answers to the questions.....Just a thought.....

Wow, now there's another thought....Maybe if someone would answer with some sort of intelligence and civility, than maybe the question would not be repeated.....and repeated.....and repeated.....Oh my....I hope another one of those nasty, life-threatening, end-of-the world threads is not necessary......;)

cbg, this is the third thread on this same subject by the writer. One thread is enough.
No obviously one thread was not enough. In fact, three threads don't even do the trick. If you don't know the answer, just say so. ;) In the future, it may stave off another vicous, nasty, terrible, life-threatening, possible end-all threads!!!!!:p

It's much easier to be a clown than answer the question, isn't it....At least you have the guts to say you can't answer the question.....That's almost refreshing.....;) Nothing like a good challenge is there?.....;)

All right. I thought it should be obvious when I said I was not a lawyer and did not work in Illinois, but since you require it, here is it.

I don't know.

I can't speak for anyone but myself.

Writer, I do not like your attitude towards my friend cbg, therefore although I could give you an answer to your post, I choose not to. Have a nice day in apellate court.
