What is the name of your state? Texas

I am involved on a message board where a group of individuals have taken it upon themselves to accuse new members of being a previous individual that caused serious stress to other members. I joined the message board using my real id and in the course of joining in I was removed being accused of being the previous mentioned member. After a few months I rejoined using an alias and was very careful not to say or do anything similar to my previous attempts of joining in discussions. I am now under suspicion of being this person once again along with a few others, but in their current attacks they have publically mentioned my real name. Do I have a legal leg to stand on?

Damages from a message board? If your membership is terminated due to suspicion....why would you want to be a member of that group????

Texas

I enjoy the posters there and the topics with exception of the one where I'm being libelled. It's a matter of principle that I find out so others that follow don't meet the same situation.

Are you serious? If it is a site paid for by someone then they have a right to allow or disallow anyone they want to from joining the site.
