What is the name of your state? Caifornia

Since I posted the below, I have received a note to my home from the exemployer telling me I must delete the information filed with the Contractors State licenes Board (refreing to the unpaid judgement he owes me) and that he is going to file a small claims case for 5000 against me and when he wins that hes going directly to the da's office to file an identy theft against me because I filed a writ against his bank accounts and have his tax payers id and ss number from a property search I did on him. The envelope matchs as does the writing on the envelop to the one as I mentioned below sent to my employer. Help!

A former employer went to the local PD and tried charging me with forgery in June of 2003. After speaking with the local PD no case was ever developed. Now because I am trying to collect on my judgement filed by the labor board with the superior court he has sent my current employer the documents he filed with the local PD that went no where. What can I do?

I don't know -- there might be a case here, but I'd have to see the specifics of the police report, what info he conveyed to the current employer, and what not.

The key here is the following:

Now because I am trying to collect on my judgement filed by the labor board with the superior court he has sent my current employer the documents he filed with the local PD that went no where.

Can you prove thats why he did it? If so, you might well have a suit. While information reported to police is fair game, if he commented upon it, or otherwise states facts he knows are false -- you are looking at a punitive damage case.

Go see a local lawyer and see what they indicate.
