if you are sued in a small claims court in north carolina and you dont send in a exempt property paper what can they take and if the claim is in my husbands name can they take anything of mine.what if the property is in both of our names.thank you for your help.

If you don't follow the rules, you get NO exemptions and EVERYTHING is up for grabs. Play by the rules and you might be able to get some protection for your assets.
