What is the name of your state?Tn We bought a used 4wheeler, rode it for not even 2hrs, had it 4days, was out of town 2 of those days, the seller(an independent small engine business) has had the 4 wheeler every since then-2-3 wks, claiming to not be sure, etc, then said it was a sensor, now says still isn't running right. We took a loan at the bank for this, the seller says they will trade or whatever, but I think we may be better off just to get a refund and pay the bank back. Is there any kind of law that backs this sort of thing up? My husband works out of town and can't handle it right now. ANy advice appreciated.

**A: and when you called the TN state consumer protection office, what did those fine folks tell you?

reply to oh-so-clever-home guru

Well for starters, we did not call any consumer agencies or anything, we have been waiting for the shop to call us back. They told me for 2 or 3 days that they knew what the problem was, they just hadn't had time to get it back together. When my husband called again, he told him it still wasn't right. I came to this forum for legal advice on this matter, not an answer to a question with a question. Every time I ask for advice on any forum, that homeguru has some lame, not even legal advice. Is there anyone who has any REAL legal advice to give on this matter? No BS please!!
