my boyfriend is taking his court case to trial.Will there be another court date after that?Or will he be remanded from court during his trial court appearance?will he get a date to turn himself in?

no he's not hiding out.he went to court yesterday & they set his trial date for July 10th.He's guilty,I mean he stole the stuff(it was 2 dvds from walmart)If he was get involved in some sort of impulse control or kleptomaniacs support group or counseling before his court date could that help him do less time?The last time he got a pety theft was like 5 years ago for simaler merchandise.Also he's maintained a prominent possition at a HUGE local newspaper for 7 years.He's majorly needed at work.Would a letter from his supervisor or the union help him do less time too?
