My sister found some drug paraphanalia in my parents' guest room (which is occupied by my 20 year old brother at the moment). We know it's his, and he's moved back in with them because he has no job. My sister watches my 4 year old daughter while she is out of college and only working part time during the summer. If my brother is caught, and the police find this in my parents' home, what could happen to them, and could I get in trouble for my daughter being there. She just found it this morning. I'm a single mom taking no chances of anything happening to me and my child. For now, I'm planning to tell my parents that my daughter will not be allowed there while he is in the house, if I can't trust him to obey the law, but if there is a legal backlash to something like this, it may make them finally take the necessary steps to get this stopped.
