I got charged with possession of alcohol by a minor but was not arrested just got a ticket. the alcohol was closed in the bottle in the trunk of my car I was not breathalized and I have to go to court but the officer told me to plead not guilty or the judge will suspend my license without question.

Is this accurate and if not what should I do in regards to a plea or in court?

Does it matter that I'm a first time offender of anything?

so, why did you have booze in your trunk? I have to presume somebody else purchased it.

The seal on the bottle was still intact, correct?
