I have a temporary restraining order on my roomate's ex-girlfriend for coming over in the middle of the night and beating me up. i have just returned from the hearing and she wants to contest the restraining order. i need to know what my options are and if she can get acces to any of my information without my permission. this restraining order is for the protection of my life because this woman has threatened it. she has assaulted me twice and has no remorse. i know she has the right to contest it, but if i have the right evidence to win this, can i? and why would she need an attorney to handle this case? the latter question is the most important. What is the name of your state?
