What is the name of your state?ms,but court was in ala
we had court friday mom says she never appealed the july 12 hearing that gave us custody, grandma got 2 and 4th weekends, split holidays, and every other week in summer, the kids are scared of grandmother and told the judge so ,our atty said we have no choice about this the judge already ruled, being she has raised them for the last year mostly, when i got these boys in may they had no table manners, could not dress themselves,5yr old and 8 yr old were still sucking bottles and pacifiers, they tell us grandma talks about sex in front of them and they never get baths at her home,we have had dhr visit her home 2 times and our atty said noone in dhr office would go against granma because she works in courthouse.

The judge apparently heard testimony and made a ruling even with that. If you don't follow the court order, you're looking at being found in contempt, fined, jailed or losing custody. Beyond that, I don't know what to tell you. Your lawyer has indicated that there's nothing to be done.

I realize that wasn't what you wanted to hear... But it doesn't sound as though there's any reason for an appeal. So your best course of action is to stay on top of the situation, keep talking to the kids, get/keep them in counseling, and document everything. Good luck.
