What is the name of your state? IN

My stepson is on my insurance and the policy states that he is NOT elegible for my insurance for next year due to the fact that he is 18, HS graduate and working over 20 hours per week and he is not willing to reduce to stay on the insurance. He also refuses to live with us and stays with his grandma (my husband's mother). She has stated to my stepson that if we don't insure him she is taking my husband to court. There are no court orders for my husband to do anything. Do we have to worry about her taking my DH to court?

Thank you for any advice you can provide.

She can take you to court for anything....doesn't mean she's going to win. Then look up catastrophic health insurance companies on line. For 25 a month he'll be covered up to 500,000-1M (doesn't pay for meds, has a 5G deduct. office visits & the such aren't included either, but heck, that's insurance right!). Then send him the bill.
