well it's always a plus to actually be there so the judge can get a feeling for who you are.

Obviously it's best to be there in person. If you can't do that, then a telephonic appearance is better than nothing. But they're not going to come to VA for you. I'm still not understanding how you can provide all the transport for visitation, yet can't get to PA for court.......

suck it up and go... ive been sitting in court and the other party been on the phone, trust me, they REALLY dont like that. its like you start with demerit points with them. then every time the call would drop the judge would get very irritated, as he felt very inconvenienced to have to re-dial the person. and even the GAL made a remark about who says they care about their kid but did not care to show up in court.. suck it up. go, dress nice, be early, make an impression.

i cant afford to do all the transportation now. but before i got into some finacial burdons with another custody case i could of done the transportation

I understand where you are coming from regarding the money. It is hard to travel from one state to another just to even see your child. I am having the same problem right now with my ex. He moved to South Carolina and I asked him if I could see our children for last weekend and he said no because of his work schedule and I asked if I could see them this weekend and he said no. He is remarried and his wife could meet me but he is refusing. Keep your head up.

If you want to see your OTHER child bad enough , you will make it happen .

Gee what's wrong with finding a man that is stable , family oriented , and has a decent Job ?

As someone Stated , Petition the Court , put on your best cloths , and the pretty face , be polite , soft spoken , and be ready to compromise and give something toward making it happen .

What county in PA are your orders in?
Some PA counties have good links to get the forms.

for all of you people that dont know me shouldnt judge me. i have tried everything there is. but now days everything takes money. my other custody case is to do with my ex. and it is venango county pa. but anyway. maybe some of you people should learn a little more about other people before you judge them. be a little mor considerate to their feelings.

Your feelings / Emotions are not a Factor of Legal Law ,and won't be a deciding factor of the Judge .

You being present , Well dressed , Soft but loud enough spoken , and being respectful to the Court , might help you along , but your feelings won't .

Plus the Fact you keep having children by different Fathers won't get you sympathy either .

Life throws us a tough go sometimes , but remember you helped create your situations .
