please I need answer if anyone knows

What is the name of your state?NC

I check the CS website for my husband everytime he gets paid to make sure they recieved the money and it has been credited to his ex's account. We do this because he havs been having problems with his ex saying she is not getting a check and then CS said he was $180 behind which he tired to explain to them he was not but they were not hearing it. He paid the $180 and now hello it turns out he has paid over. Go figure.
Anyway when I checked the CS website today to make sure they did get his cs payment this week. This is what it stated:

Your $ 78.46 payment was received on 08/01/2005.
$ 52.30 - Currently this payment has not been applied.
$ 26.16 was credited to the account of Mother's name.

Is this because he has paid over? I know when I tell him he is not going to know what it means and I don't know what to tell him. And I know when his ex gets that check for $26.16 she is going to be calling him wanting to know why she didn't get a full check and threatin to call the cs office again.
