What is the name of your state? California

Hi there -

If Bob is granting Tom an irrevocable nonexclusive license to sell, exploit, show etc a book that Bob has written, does this mean that Bob still retains his rights to do whatever he wants with the book (sell, show, etc) if there is nothing in the contract saying otherwise??

Hope that made sense! All help so so appreciated as contract law drives me nuts!
