I had a Dentist do a medical service(lance a blood blister) This was not approved by the Insurance Company and therefore I was responsible to pay the charges to the Doctor. He submitted a tissue sample to a Medical Laboratory for analysis and did not inform me that he was doing so. I am upset that someone can bill by account without me knowing or approving of this Lab service charge. I have refused payment as not being responsible and as a result have had an attachment made to my credit report for not paying a bill. I am considering taking this matter to small claim court to see if I am liable or not for an item that I did not want nor know anything about until several months latter. Please advise if I have a chance for winning the argument in court.
