What is the worst case senario if you get caught with a fake Driver License by police

Hi everyone,

I would like to know what is the worst case senario that can happen if somone is caught with a fake drivers license in Texas.

For example if I am at a club and I state that I am 18 on my Drivers License and It so happens that the police raid this club and check ID's. They notice it is a fake drivers license. What I mean by fake is a driver license with my name and picture but not my real date of birth?

Kind of tricky whether it falls under state or federal law. Well you are almost always allowed to have a fake ID, it is just how you use it that counts. If you are driving with a fake licence that is big trouble, but to get into a club with it is not really a punishable crime. If you ever are in a club that gets raided, or are ever ask for ID by a police officer, open your wallet and pull out your real ID. If they say what is that one, tell them it is fake, they might take it from you but you will not be in any legal trouble. Always show you real ID to the police, even if it means getting in trouble for buying smokes.
