What is the name of your state? TN I was looking at the sex offender registry for my state and ran across a co-worker of mine. He was charged with "sexual exploitation of a minor". What type of crime would this be? As in what did he likely do?

(1) that the defendant knowingly possessed material that includes a

minor engaged in sexual activity;


or
(2) that the defendant knowingly possessed material that includes a

minor engaged in simulated sexual activity that is patently offensive.
