What is the name of your state? Texas

Hello, just sold my website and was given some paperwork I needed to sign in order to close the deal. The following items were sent to me: Non-compete agreement, Purchase agreement and NDA.

What kind of lawyer should I contact in order to get myself protected to the fullest extent possible? Thanks.

A business lawer with experience in transactions. The types of documents you listed are the standard documents in any sale of a business.

cost...

Thank you for the feedback! Would you happen to know what I can expect to pay in terms of fees? Thanks.
Any reputable lawyer should be able to do that for a couple hundred dollars (as long as their are no complications).

Hi,
Well, I told the guy I didn't want to sell the site, after all. For some reason, he has not gotten back to me for aroudn 7 days now. At what point can I officially call this deal dead? No contracts were signed. However, the third-party auction service that I used to sell the website says the sale is legally binding. If I can't get ahold of the buyer to confirm the cancelation of the sale, can I carry on with my ways or do I need to get something signed from the buyer saying that the deal is dead? How so if I can't contact him? I guess what I am saying is, I dont' want to work on the site for 1 year and then find him knocking on my door saying I owe him the site.

thoughts?
