lamjam from NH...In Feb Childrens services were contacted about my granddaughter and the neglect and abuse her mother was giving her while my son was in boot camp. My son has recently been deployed for 6 months. My granddaughter is with me for the six months so mom can work. Mom didn't seem sad to see her baby go. She was kind of glad! my grandaughter did spend 2 weeks at home and when I picked her up, the house was filthy with dog urine and half cleaned up feces. NH child services told me since I was able to take the child they didn't need to get involved. I can't stand the thought of sending her back in 6 months to that situation. Is there anything I can do legally to keep her with me. Grandma
