 :( What is the name of your state? CA
Hello! Several years ago when my mother passed away a big rift developed between several family members over the way her belongings were handled. My sister and I had not spoken to each other since then, until today. My uncle who 'handled' things when my mother passed away is still furious with my sister. Okay, I'm not even sure how to ask this, please bear with me. My grandmother had a heart attack and stroke last week. She is coherent and knows us when we call. My sister, who hadn't spoke to any of us since my mother died, has also called my grandmother to make sure she was okay. My grandmother has also stated that she wants to see my sister. I have spoke with my sister and have no problem with her visiting my grandmother. My uncle, my grandmothers' son, has stated that he will not allow my sister in to see my grandmother. If she shows up he will have the hospital security throw her out. Can he do this? Do we have any rights here? All my sister wanted to do was see my grandmother and make sure she is okay. Can you please help us? Thank you very much.

Is your uncle at the hospital 24/7? Tell you sister to come when he's not there. And tell your uncle to stop being a prick and respoect his mother's wishes.
