What is the name of your state? Colorado
My dad passed on earlier this year and had named my older sister as the authorized rep of the estate. They were both abusive with me all my life, and due to the abuse, led to a disability, and now she is implying that she will take the majority of the monies he left to create retirement, not to help me start my own business as I have planned since I went on SSI. I am competent to run my own business, and she does not have the right to plan my future. I want this out of probate court, and am consider a libel/slander and mental duress law suit. HOw to I file a lien on the property he left, and tell her she does not have the right to slander me, imply imcompentence, and take monies that could help me now for my retirement, as if I am unable to plan my future.:(

Was there a will?? If so, then she would have to comply with the wishes of your father as set therein.
If there was not a will, what she 'wishes' is not relevant at all... as the estate will be distributed per your state intestate laws.

What she says about you, right or wrong, is not an issue on the estate wishes.
