I need help to know where to file for divorce.
I moved to georgia with my three children two years ago when we were evicted from our home in south carolina. relatives provided us room and board in ga, while my husband choose to remain in south carolina because of his "business contacts". He is self employed but has not contributed any financial support for the children in over two and a half years. Since I am the sole finnacial contributer of my children it would create an impossible hardship to file in sc. can i file for divorce and child support in georgia.

You have established residency in Georgia; therefore, that is the state where you would file.
