in the state of ny, regarding child support, which document would be considered more important - a divorce decree or court ordered support? the divorce decree was preceeded by a separation agreement which stated that the terms of the sep. agrmnt. would be binding and carried over to divorce decree. what the court ordered and what he agreed to in the divorce are worlds apart.
