What is the name of your state? CT

Does an Executor with "absolute discretion" have the power to disinherit a Trust beneficiary on the spot?

Further, does an Executor/Trustee have the ability to create disincentives (and deny benefits) or must these disincentives inherently be a part of a Trust document or written instructions-- instructions from the person who made the Will and Trust?

Executor has made clear that receiving benefits is contingent upon certain behaviors. And that benefits can be revoked for non-compliance.

How far does "absolute discretion" reach?

I assume beneficiaries have the right to see Trust documents and written instructions.
