What is the name of your state? IL

I am going to see a lawyer on Monday for a free consultation. I would like to know what type of questions to ask to make sure I get good service before I would want to hire him to help me get a modification of Child Support, to help me obtain a insurance card from the father, change some stipulations in the joint parenting agreement and maybe change some visitation time.

Why not explain the facts, your desires and why you believe the orders should be modified , and ask what are my chances ? ,and can I get the support payments modified ?

Be careful as to not spend your money unwisely.

Are these changes your asking for significant enough to spend more money on ? Support payments your making now -V- the money you will be spending ??

I am just wondering if there are certain questions that would be good to ask - basically a good way to word my desires and facts?

Just be wary if the lawyer starts listing a bazillion things they want to do for you... When I went to my free consultation the guy had all sorts of restraining orders, and psyche evaluations and lord knows whatall he wanted to do. It would have cost me my life savings. So, what I did, was I went home and wrote him an email and told him EXACTLY what I wanted and didn't want from his list. Turns out, all I really needed was the lawyer as a front man, and the paralegal did all the work! Much cheaper. Same result.... Victory Woot!!!

Good luck.
