Los Angeles California. The owners wife somehow got on the owners deed without his knowledge or signature (forgery), and she has gotten loans on the property that at one point were in default. How can I protect myself and find out if the property is still in foreclosure and what do I do if it is? The owners wife recently gave me a letter in which she forged the owners name stating I now have to pay my rent to this fake management company Turner Financial in Hawthorne California. I dont know what to do and who to pay me rent to.
