What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Missouri

My Husband and I filed our divorce on our own. In the beginning we agreed on everything. Well things have changed because I found out his new new girlfriend has moved into his house about a month ago. He is now changing everything we had agreed on. Our hearing date is on Oct 11th. Will I have a chance to change things in the divorce papers? What can I expect at this hearing? Again we do not have lawyers.

My husband canceled the kids and I's health insurance. What can I do about this?

I have been seperated from my husband for 3 mos. My husband has moved his new girlfriend into his house. My kids are devastated by this. My 14 year old will not even go to his dad's anymore. We did not use lawyers and filed ourselves. He moved her in the day after we filed. Is there anything I can do? Will the judge do anything at our hearing?

Again though the answer is still get a low cost consult. Unless there is an restraining order prohibiting cancellation or a current order requiring him to provide it, he can cancel the health insurance. That would be unusual for there not to be one but it is possible. As for visitation, if there is a court order for visitation it must be followed. Your 14 year old does NOT get to choose unless the order states specifically that he can choose. Without a no paramour order, while tacky and pathetic, hubby can move his girlfriend into his home.

But you need someone to review ALL of your paperwork.
