Daughter (23) is at college. She has a driver's license. Her dad and I are divorced. She listed my address as permanent address for school purposes.
Her car's title (she did buy it) is currently in her dad's name as he is trying to sell it for her.
She is not on his nor my car insurance as it would be over 5k due to her driving/legal record. She currently has 12 months of probation left.
Daughter felt dad wasn't being proactive in trying to sell it (and he did use it), so she took the car with her to try and sell on her own.
If she gets stopped and gets a ticket, or worse, is in an accident. Who would be liable and/or fined for what?
