What is the name of your state?michigan
should my mom just try for full custody or should i just claim emancipation.................. but the only thing i am afriad of is that i am not goning to find a job.. and i am alreadyin the court system and i don't really wnat to be there anymore.... i am 17 i am capable to take care of my self but i just don't want to be in the court system......

Being 'capable' to care for yourself is a long way from the legal requirements for emancipation.

Forget it. Mom should file for custody.

My only question is how are you able to take care of yourself on your own if you don't already have a job. That's also going to be a judges first question.

How about you do something really cool. Take your time to actually write down your story and why you think you're eligible for emancipation. Then maybe someone can actually give you some advice.
