What's a GAL??

I was just informed that i can use something called a GAL. What is a GAL and how do i get one?

Ah yes, I was just finishing off a wonderful BBQ dinner of garden, fruit and potato salads, jumbo prawns, Ribs, links, steak, chicken, homemade cheese, grilled summer squash, delicious black beans with four types of fresh salsa and cake and homemade red, white and blue ice cream, it was a little early for the sky show, but later we rocked to music as we watched the sky in 6 cities from the same location!
OP should contact the court in the jurisdiciton where the child resides to injuire re the appointment of a Guardian ad Litem.

seriously THOUGH A gal is A lawyer FOR THE child > He/she REPRESENTS THE CHILD UNDER THE laws , AND THE child's BEST INTEREST , not EITHER parent . the gal MAY OR MAY NOT INTERVIEW THE parent(S) and the child . The GAL will make a recommendation to the Court , which the Judge may or may not follow , depending on the litigations in front of it .
