I am the victim in a domestic violence situation in Colorado. I wrote letter to DA and Judge to get mandatory restraining orders lifted. I appear before Judge on Monday. What shouldn't I say? I want them lifted, I want to move back in our home with him, I want my life back. I feel like a victim of the system. Would not saying anything hurt the chances of the order being lifted? I just don't want to hurt his chances down the road, because I said things in the police report that were exagerated and there are discrepencies in the reports as well. He was charged with a 2nd degree Dom Assault because of a broken rib that I had injured 4 days earlier. They assumed he broke it, but I never said he hit me there. But I never said otherwise and I'm totally regretting now!! Thanks for any advice
