What is the name of your state? TX, My divorce papers say the earliest occurrence of one of the following events: reaches the age of 18, provided that, if the child is fully enrolled in an accredited primary or secondary school in a program toward a high school diploma. He's 18 and is in 10th grade, he failed 2 years.

I'm hijacking a thread and I apologize for doing it--but--are you in Flordia? Heck, anyone who lives in Florida and is willing to answer a couple of questions about the hurricane damage, I'd appreciate a private message or email.
Thanks,
EC

As IAAL for my email address and point him here if he says no.
I don't do private messages. And I'm only here for the day so be quick about it.

I'll post it here; answer it when you have time: [email protected]

This has to do with building materials that are now classified as hazardous materials...asbestos shingles that were used in the 1950's. About 15 years ago, we called the EPA to find out what we could do about removing and disposing of these shingles and the process and costs were ridiculous. The hurricane removed the majority of the shingles and they are everywhere, plus the building needs to have the remainder removed or in some way, the building exterior needs to be repaired. Is the EPA managing this type of clean-up and are they being reasonable about the charges? I'd call the EPA and ask, but the last time we called and ask a question, they sent an inspector to the property and my dad is not going to take that very well.

Thanks,
EC

In Florida the law is CS after age 18 only IF the child is in school with REASONABLE EXPECTATION of gaduation BEFORE age 19.

Re check your divorce papers and your state law, maybe your state has a similar law. (being 18 in 10th grade definately would not create a reasonable expectation of graduation).
