4 LONG years of continual filings....continual attempts to remove custody...continual allegations. 5 attorneys, 2 forensic evaluators, a rebuttal forensic evaluator, a Minor's Attorney, therapists all the way around, 4 false CPS reports, 6 home welfare checks, $180,000.00, endless harassment/multiple ROs.

In the end he had 2 attorneys quit on him & it ALL resulted in him NO LONGER being able to have Decision (Joint Legal) and he can only return to court if I DIE or am INCARCERATED. :D
This kind of thing really pains my heart. Unreal.

Unfortunately there are some people in this world who have enough money to be obnoxious.

Now he's remarried, so let's hope they get pregnant ASAP and he finds something else to focus his extra time on.

Man...

I'm right behind you though... 3.5 years since divorce, 2+ actually litigating stuff... 3 attorneys for me, one for him... a trip to the appeals court, a GAL, 2 calls to DSS (both unsubstantiated), I don't even know at this point how much money, 2 years worth of ROs...

We're back to court tomorrow for the second round of ROs, and then on the 1st for contempt.

I've got a Contempt folder going which is already filling up. He thinks it irritates me, so he does ridiculously immature things. I don't react to 1/2 of it - the important things I send him certified 'reminders' of...then let it go. I just keep the folder for ins. purposes

I actually received a certified "reminder" the other day. It was lovely. Full of inaccurate information re: our children's medical conditions, but lovely nonetheless.

My legal files are ENORMOUS. It's crazy. Really.

"Help" huh? See, that is the attitude that gets you in trouble.

what trouble? that JJ does not want to respond to my posts? unfortunate but happens on such forums!

She didnt' pat you on the back, and you got sarcastic and assinine.

not looking for pats on my back.. what is the point of that except to prolong any misconceptions i have or may have about my case? how is that going to help me or my daugther?

You will be in court until your child is 18. At which point your child will most likely be fed up with BOTH you and dad (see there is the BOTH again) and say BYE BYE to the bull**** you are engaging in.

now this is a great example of what i said earlier.. you have predicted it all..as an attny,or even using a reasonable man man approach, does this mandate make sense to you?
As for tit for tat -- lets see, you filed an order to clarify the vacation motion because you disagree with how dad is utilizing it, and then he files a motion about something else.

and why is that tit for tat? dad and i could not agree, but were negotiating a middle ground, so i did NOT file an order (again jumping the gun here OG!), but suggested and Dad's attny AGREED that rather than go around in circles, let us have a quick status conference with the judge to clarfy the issue.. then Dad decides NO.. i am going to file a motion alleging God knows what, i have not filed a single motion since my divorce..see how you jump to conclusions and then get carried away with your own rhetoric? now dad has filed a motion, i have to respond, or is that tit for tat as well??

I never said I do not encourage my clients to ANSWER motions.

Good.. that is all iam doing answering his motions.. to date, I HAVE NOT filed any motion, clarification or not.. NONE and dont plan on it unless the situation really warrants it, which is actions etc that are affecting our child!

I do tell my clients however not to engage in the stupid tit for tat here.

I agree.. it gets one nowhere..

It is like the two of you are in a competition and the only way to stop the competition is to STOP competing. Even if you win the rat race, guess what? You are STILL a rat.
maybe so.. and if you feel comfortable to make these overarching statements on parenting skills etc, then be prepared to have your own legal expertise questioned..if you make it personal, it gets personal.. last time I checked this forum was for legal advice

It does seem there's a heavy dose of "psychological advice" given here of the splitting type variety. It's interesting because that's the very issue we're dealing with with previously alienated stepdaughter and so I really notice it when it's done here!
